Scope of the Brand Policy

This policy strictly governs Business-to-Business (B2B) interactions, institutional partnerships, and the usage of brand assets belonging to the Hospital Data Center. It also outlines our fair-use approach regarding external healthcare provider trademarks displayed within our CMS dataset directory. For end-user data collection, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

B2B Information Processing

When hospital administrators, official data officers, or compliance managers reach out to us for dataset alignments or corporate communications, we securely process the following B2B identifiers:

  • Official business contact details (name, corporate email, role/title).
  • Official communications, verifiable domain confirmations, and CMS-related inquiry history.
  • Aggregate API or widget usage metrics (if applicable).

Fair Use of External Intellectual Property

As an objective healthcare aggregator, we list hospital names, state affiliations, and clinic titles exactly as they emerge from official public datasets (such as the CMS Provider Datasets). We do not claim ownership, endorsement, or direct affiliation with the healthcare institutions listed. External trademarks remain the property of their respective legal entities.

B2B Data Retention and Sharing

Professional contact information obtained during dispute resolutions or data verification processes is never sold or used for medical lead generation. We maintain this B2B data under strict TLS web security explicitly for compliance records, retaining it only as long as an active dialogue exists or as required by corporate auditing standards.

Usage of Hospital Data Center Assets

The "Hospital Data Center" name, our proprietary "Quality Score" badge designs, interface structures, and domain assets are shielded by intellectual property law. Hospitals scoring highly on our platform may wish to display a "Featured on Hospital Data Center" badge; however, any commercial or public use of our digital assets implies explicit prior written authorization to ensure adherence to our neutral, data-first integrity.
