Our Commitment to Accurate Data

Hospital Data Center aggregates and displays unmodified clinical performance metrics published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). While we do not generate, modify, or override individual quality ratings locally, we are committed to helping providers and users ensure their mapped profiles are correct.

1

Verify the Source at CMS.gov

Because we replicate federal records, any clinical score discrepancies (e.g. HCAHPS scores, readmissions, infection rates) must first be verified on the official CMS Provider Data Registry. If the data is incorrect on CMS.gov, the facility must submit a correction request through CMS's official review and correction channels.

2

Reporting Mapping or Display Errors

If your facility's data is correct on CMS.gov but displayed incorrectly on Hospital Data Center (e.g., mismatched coordinates, outdated address, incorrect clinician roster, or spelling errors), we will correct it immediately.

Submit a Display Correction Request

To report a mapping, naming, or profile rendering discrepancy, please contact our data verification desk with the details of your facility and the correct CMS.gov URL.
