Our platform operates exclusively as a data aggregator. Every piece of hospital rating, quality metric, and benchmark score comes directly from verified public sources. Our primary upstream authoritative source is the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We index datasets such as the Hospital General Information (HGI), HCAHPS Patient Surveys, Timely & Effective Care, Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI), and Complications & Deaths schemas. We do not accept unverified third-party reviews.

Hospital Data Center is strictly independent. We do not allow 'pay-to-play' mechanics. No hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider can pay to artificially inflate their Quality Score, alter their Patient Experience metrics, or manipulate their sorting rank. Our 'Hospital_V4_Quality_Score' model is a deterministic formula scaling public data objectively across all listed entities.

We strictly oppose the use of Generative AI for fabricating medical reviews or subjective healthcare opinions. Our automation tools are used solely as parsing layers: to translate complex CMS data schemas into readable UI templates, calculate regional averages, and run delta-updates when CMS releases new quarterly datasets.

We are committed to data accuracy. If a verified hospital administrator identifies a parsing mismatch between our UI and the official CMS data, we rectify it immediately. Please report such discrepancies via our Data Contact Form. Note: If the error originates upstream within the CMS files, providers must petition CMS directly for corrections.
